Powerfit - £100 (1.30 - 2 hours)

Pre Assessment - Within this stage we will get an understanding of you, looking at any of your previous injuries and any issues that you get whilst cycling. We also determine what your demands are from the bike whilst also finally we look at your flexibility.

Shoe and Cleat Evaluation - If you have shoes we will look at the condition of them and the cleat, if the cleat is damaged or olda new one shall be advised. If you don’t have shoes, don’t worry we can run through the options and also look cleat and pedal options.

Pre-Power Capture - This will be the first stage that you get on the Wattbike, we will discover your current power efficiency, your pedalling technique and determine whether your cleats are positioned correctly. It also gives us the opportunity to discuss pedalling technique as a graph is portrayed for you to see.

Saddle Position Assessment - This is where we will be using digital measuring tools to determine where the saddle should be placed height wise and where it should be positioned on the rails. This section helps with your power output and we aim to make you as efficient as we can on the bike.

Reach Adjustment - With this stage the rest of the body will be looked at through certain applications to make sure a sensible angle will be applied to you. This will allow us to meet the demands that you wanted. Also thanks to the applications we are using, visually you will be able to see how your position now is.

Bar Width Analysis - The final stage before we test your power again, we want to make sure the bars aren’t causing too much distress for you but that you are still able to control the bike and be able to place your hands on the hoods sensibly.

Post Power Capture - This stage shows how the changes we have made have (hopefully) improved your cycling power and efficiency. If you don’t feel comfortable or want changes we will be able to do them and repeat this stage. We will also go through pedal technique again just to make sure you are making it as easy as possible for yourself.

Report - Within the final step you will be shown your results and the report produced via the PowerFit application, this will hopefully help you understand the changes we have made. The app will also produce measurements that you can use for setting up any current or future bikes. Thanks to these measurements we will be able to show you what bikes will fit you and any adjustments you would need to do to them. This report will also be emailed to you and we will have it on our database so the result are always available just in case you did misplace them.

Powerfit Advanced - £200 (2-3 hours)

Pre Assessment Stage - Within this stage we will get an understanding of you, looking at any of your previous injuries and any issues that you get whilst cycling. We also determine what your demands are from the bike whilst also finally we look at your flexibility.

Pre Assessment On The Bike - Using our CRT measurement Jig we are able to set the Wattbike up to the same measurements of your current bike, this will enable us to look at your current position on the bike before we begintesting your power.

Pre Asessment Motion Capture - Using certain applications we will get a visual representation of you on the bike, from both sides, in front and also from behind. This allows us to be that little more accurate than others, and where other system look at one side of the body we look at both making sure the output is through both legs rather than one.

Pre Power Capture - This will be the first stage that you get on the Wattbike, we will discover your current power efficiency, your pedalling technique and determine whether your cleats are positioned correctly. It also gives us the opportunity to discuss pedalling techniques and provide on hand data for you to review.

Flexibility Testing - Using various methods, we look at your flexibility within your muscular and biomechanics system, this will give us a good idea of any areas that might want to be focused on to improve the elasticity of the muscles. The trunk strength and flexibility is also looked at and helps us have an idea of what you should look like on a bike.

Saddle Assessment And Set Up - This is where we use the ID match digital cailpers to determine what shape saddle you need and then apply it to the bike to try out, this is also matched with the flexibility results from the previous testing to get you the perfect saddle.Within this stage we will get an understanding of you, looking at any of your previous injuries and any issues that you get whilst cycling. We also determine what your demands are from the bike, whilst also finally we look at your flexibility. Insoles are of high importance when setting up shoes,
therefore we will look at the options of these using our feet revelator insole device. The insoles assessment will look at arch support, knee alignment, arch print and then we will fit the insoles.

Shoe And Insole Evaluation And Set Up - In this stage we look at the state of your cleat, and fit if needing new ones. Moreover, in this stage float levels and the requirements of your body are looked at and adjusted. This stage may take some time but arguably the most important stage, this keeps the whole bottom half of the body in line. Again, certain applications are used to help portray this to you.

Saddle Position Assessment - This is where we will be using digital measuring tools to determine where the saddle should be placed height wise and where it should be positioned on the rails. This section helps with your power output and we aim to make you as efficient as we can on the bike.

The final stage before we test your power again, we want to make sure the bars aren’t causing too much distress for you but that you are still able to control the bike and be able to place your hands on the hoods sensibly.

Post Motion Capture - Similar to the initial motion testing we want to make sure that our work has helped you and not hindered anything. Using before and after videos we will be able to demonstrate to you were and why we have made the improvements. Using the motion capture it is easier to pinpoint anything that we had missed or portray to you why it feels more comfortable. Again the applications allow
us to run through pedal with you visual learners.

Post Power Capture - This stage shows how the changes we have made have improved your cycling power and efficiency. If you don’t feel comfortable or want changes we will be able to do them and repeat this stage. We will also go through pedal technique again just to make sure you are making it as easy as possible for yourself.

This report will also be emailed to you and we will have it on our database so the result are always available just in case you did misplace them. Furthermore if you need stretch exercises to improve your muscle elasticity we will advise you on some and demonstrate how to do them.

Post Bike Set Up - Once the measurements have been confirmed we will then set up your bike to match the Wattbike using our CRT measurement jig which allows us to be a lot more accurate compared to alternative methods. We will contact you after the fit to see if you are happy with the fit or if any tweaks are needed we will discuss them and book you in to adjust it for you.
