THE ROLES: FULL TIME

Sales Manager - one position available
The position requires an experienced individual with previous knowledge of the cycle industry and management expertise. This varied role requires great communication and sales skills, the candidate must be able to deal with all enquiries that come with the territory of bicycle store, including service, repairs and helping customers find their next cycling adventure.  Previous experience of EPOS till systems and stock management would be preferred although not essential.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing customer relationships, understanding and managing customers’ needs together with excellent organisation and administration skills.  They will have an ability to organise workload and move between tasks according to priority and be detail conscious.  The candidate must also enjoy meeting new people and be a proactive team player and leader. An interest and knowledge in all types of cycling are very important.

Sales Assistant/Fitter- two positions available
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and committed individual to become an integral part of our team, providing customer satisfaction and a memorable purchase experience. You must have a keen interest in cycling, from riding your own to a genuine interest in new cycling products.

The role will involve helping to drive the sale of cycles, apparel, parts & accessories and components, as well as promoting cycle maintenance. The successful applicant will thrive on a high degree of interaction with customers and be able to follow up all customers, sales leads, taking a very proactive approach to developing and closing sales opportunities. A basic technical knowledge of cycles, together with the ability to assemble and PDI a cycle, under supervision depending on technical skill, will be required.  Whilst the role is sales focused, we believe in a strong team environment, so the applicant will play a full and valued role in helping to grow the overall business. 

Service Manager - one position available

A high level of mechanical expertise (Cytech certified) and the ability to delegate workshop tasks as necessary to ensure a smooth work flow. Relevant sales experience would be beneficial. You must be a great communicator and high customer service skills with a high level of motivation and co-operation; a great team player. Previous workshop management experience would be beneficial. 

Workshop Technician - One position available

At Giant we seek employees who are customer friendly, energetic and committed to the brand.  We are currently looking for bicycle mechanics with previous experience. This integral role is extremely important to ensure customers’ ultimate cycling experiences.  The individuals will be highly organised a proactive member of the team and able to manage their own time and work load.

The mechanics role requires goal orientated individuals who are happy to work as part of a team to achieve objectives as well as have the initiative to work alone managing time and priorities.   You will have good experience of the cycle industry as well as be customer service orientated and personable.   The successful candidates will have excellent organisation skills and be a clean and tidy worker.  Training will be given to all mechanics
